where senior Nate Meseret continued where he left off after last week's double Regional Championships in the 1600 and 3200m runs with a spectacular 3rd place finish at today's State Meet, smashing the Lancer School Record with a superb time of 9 minutes 24 seconds. Nate will compete in two weeks in the Nike Indoor Nationals in Boston, Mass., in the 2mile. In today's State Championship 1600, junior Abraham Yacob placed 9th with a time of 4 minutes 33 seconds...next year Abe will challenge for All-State status as well! Great job Lancers...and thanks to all who supported these guys all season!!!
